Belidor AI has raised $7.9 million in Series A funding as water utilities and industrial operators look for better ways to turn fragmented plant data into operational decisions.

The round was announced on February 4, 2026, and co-led by T Bridge Venture Partners and 49th Fund. PACA Ventures, Nexenai Capital, and A195 Capital also joined the financing.

Water treatment is increasingly a data-rich but insight-poor industry. Plants collect continuous readings through SCADA systems and historians while also relying on laboratory results, spreadsheets, paper logs, maintenance records, and operator experience. The problem is not simply storing that information. It is identifying which signal matters, explaining why performance changed, and coordinating the right action before a compliance, uptime, or cost issue grows.

Founder Jerry Hanson is positioning Belidor AI as an AI-powered operational intelligence layer around that problem. Agent Zed, the company's AI process engineer, can work with a facility's own readings, logs, and documents to answer questions, analyse performance, create charts, review uploaded files, and run scheduled monitoring or reporting jobs.

The platform extends beyond an AI assistant. It includes digital twins and historical plant audits, dashboards, calculated metrics, alerts, notifications, tasks, operating procedures, and integrations. Trend-based alerts can help teams identify forecast crossings, unusual patterns, and missing data instead of relying only on fixed high-low thresholds.

Belidor AI's read-only approach to control-system data is an important part of the product strategy. The software can use information from existing systems without changing setpoints or sending commands into the plant. This allows the company to position its platform as an intelligence and decision-support layer rather than a replacement for core control infrastructure.

The addressable market includes wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, food and beverage, desalination, and water reuse. These operators face growing pressure to improve compliance, reduce operating costs, preserve institutional knowledge, and extract more value from infrastructure already in place.

The Series A gives Belidor AI additional resources to deepen its product, expand implementation capacity, and pursue wider adoption across utility and industrial water operations.
